It’s rare that I find a product I love so much that I want to spread the word, but Luna Sandal’s Leadville Pacers fit the bill.

I’ve been wearing them for running over varied terrain, hiking, and casual wear for the last two month, and I’m blown away by how perfect they are.

After more than a year traveling around Asia, including some poor areas in Indonesia, Thailand, Combodia, and Laos where hygiene is not up to first world standards, I’ve yet to get a case of travelers’ diarrhea or food poisoning, or so much as a head cold, for that matter. This streak of no sickness has been going since 2005.

Entrepreneurial and personal growth writer Tim Ferriss loves to travel the world, but his track record isn’t so great, and he recently reported serious diarrhea and near delirium brought on by a 101 degree fever after eating some bad food in India.

So what’s the magic difference? Our food.
