If I had to summarize 35% of my email, that would pretty much cover it.
You, my loyal readers, are insatiable raw recipe devourers.
You got Savory Raw Recipes And Sauces, said yum, and then proceeded to demand more.
Soups! Salads! Slaws! Smoothies!
I have to admit that I haven’t exactly been feeding your addiction to new tasty raw food combos with as much diligence as I should have.
Today I don’t have any of my own creations to present you with, but I do have the next best thing: tasty recipes from a long-term raw foodist who shares my discriminating tastes when it comes to demanding not only awesome flavor, but avoidance of the many raw foods which aren’t particularly healthy.
There are dozens of raw food recipe books and websites out there, but I wouldn’t recommend most of them to you because they feature foods that are poorly combined or have ingredients that are less than ideal.
So where can I find recipes to suggest that don’t contain salt, pepper, honey, agave, garlic, cacao (the fruit is fine, but not the seed), chocolate, grains, onions, nutritional yeast, oil, nama shoyu/tamari, seaweed and/or other “sea vegetables”, vinegar, sauerkraut, or any other fermented food?
Surely I’m picky enough that no one else could share my standards, right?
Turns out the answer is no.
