The Raw Food Choice: Nuts Or Fruit?

Given that vegetables alone cannot supply our caloric needs, we need to choose one or the other if we’re not going to starve eating a raw diet.
So what happens when you choose fat?
Lauren Knowles gives us a great example. She writes:
“I am a raw foodist but eat seeds and some nuts. What should I eat for protein? AS I am hungry if I just eat greens. I do have candida very badly and I am always watching sugar intake. I do not eat fruit at all.
Please advise.”
Those that try to avoid fruit and just eat fat for their calories tend to run into blood sugar issues, particularly candida.
